Can I hear other events and venues from Rooftop Movies?
Rooftop Movies is in the heart of Northbridge, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of a thriving entertainment precinct. Rooftop Movies is proud to be in an area that has so much on offer to the people of Perth and this is something that makes the venue truly unique.
As an outdoor cinema with no walls and ceilings, there are sounds from nearby venues and events but we like to think that this adds to the experience and creates an atmosphere like no other. Please be aware that you may hear outside noise, and that an outdoor cinema will not sound like your standard cinema experience. Rooftop Movies works with sound specialists and surrounding venues to make sure that the sound is the best it can absolutely be.
What if it rains?
As an outdoor event, we’re occasionally subject to bad weather. We’ll try to go ahead with events wherever possible and may not cancel for light or intermittent rain. We strongly recommend customers bring wet weather gear to events in case of rain (note - the use of umbrellas during screenings is not permitted). However, you can buy ponchos at the Box Office for $5.
Events will only be cancelled if weather poses a safety threat to patrons, staff or technical equipment.
If a screening is going to be cancelled due to weather, all ticket holders will be sent an email by 5pm letting them know. We will also post on the Facebook page around this time.
In that event, we’ll follow up the next business day with an exchange voucher for you to use on any other film that is available in the season.
I booked tickets but can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?
All bookings are final - we don’t refund or exchange tickets for a booking mistake or a change of mind. Please take care when booking to check you have the correct details. You are welcome to pass them on to friends or family.
In the event of a wet weather cancellation, we’ll exchange your ticket for another session.
For full details of our refund policy please refer to our terms and conditions.
